Myself and the wife listened to the whole programme.

One comment struck me, I think it was made by an English solicitor; "In England, if a house is standing, it's legal. Because if it wasn't it would be demolished".

It seems in Spain, some British bring that mentality, and are to trusting. They are also, in some cases very naive and don't bother to do even the most basic of checks.

Still, however stupid some are you still have to feel sorry for them, it cannot be much fun to see your life savings going down the drain.

It was of interest ......enjoyed the whole program ....living the dream or the nightmare

And incorrect. Remember the luxury home built under the barn roof to disguise for 5 years. Demolished. For 5 years it was finished.
Not even in UK solicitors get it right.

yep 300 000 down, that's got to hurt.

Still, only 2 hours flying time from most of the U.K and great weather and food, culture too. I still think Spain will always be a favourite with us northern Europeans.
