Had another first rate meal last night in Maria II opposite the GA Town Hall & Health Centre.

Have had Chinese meals there more times than I can count (approx once every 10/14 days) since 2003 and it has never let me down so want to encourage all Forum Members to give it a try if they haven't already.

Please remember that we need to support these local restaurants, etc, in the lean times as they were there for us in the days of plenty and we want them there when the good economic times return. It's not just that there are fewer people about but also that these (UK people) who are here have less money to spend out and about.

Please give Maria II a try. It's not as cheap as 'Gran Mundo' and certainly not as expensive as others around GA. Have tried most of them and have found that Maria II is the best for food quality and value for money.

We like Maria II also.  It was the nearest Chinese restaurant to us and excellent value.  We have never been disappointed.

Incidentally why are the Chinese restaurants called Maria and the pizza places called Dragon?
