Arandanos (blueberries)

Postby sandra » Sat Apr 18, 2009 12:36 pm

Ok, I'm confused. Went to a market and saw dried Arandonos, tasted one and it was just like a sultana. Only it was pink. I thought, in my innocence, that perhaps blush grapes dry that way.

Having looked it up since I had no idea what it was, I found it is blueberry. The dried berry is PINK! I have not seen pink dried blueberries before. Does anyone know, do they dye them? Can't understand why it would taste like a sultana either, since blueberries don't!

Hello Sandra

Maybe they were cranberries, these are pink when dried and delicious to eat, full of vitamins and everything, have'nt seen pink blueberries though. :)
