MY RECIPE SITE

Postby sandra » Mon Jul 06, 2009 9:25 pm

My son has set up a site for my recipes (think a tad of self interest may be involved!). He often rings up for one of mine, as he is in UK.
Anyway, have started to load a few, so for anyone interested, here is the address.

I apologise if it has a few teething problems, he is the expert, not me!

I would like to congratulate your son on producing a web site that looks clean and tidy and without the use of unnecessary fancy gimmicks like Flash.  I am impressed that he has used CSS and taken steps to make the markup code validate.  If only more websie  authors would do this.

I see he has used Wordpress.  This seems an excellent piece of software.  My son also uses it and it takes him very little hand-tweaking to remove validation errors.

When finished, the website will be something you can both be proud of.

He has just graduated with a BSc in Computer Science, so he should know what he is doing!
All he needs to do now is make sure his not so clever mother can use it properly (and get a job!) :D
