Thanks for the input. I suspect that ultimately I shall be driven more by cost than quality and versatility. It's difficult justifying to " 'er indoors" a grand on "toys" when comparing with a new top in M&S for twenty quid.

Two options...

1 Pop down to your nearest Canon/Nikon dealer, get what heck you want and then 'neglect' to mention it

2 Pick up a copy of AP and trawl through the second user kit
