Could not agree more with this action, let us hope that it continues apace and particularly that Santa Pola does indeed follow the lead resulting in action in GA.

Interesting to note in the article that the powers that be have noted that the majority of dog owners are responsible and do pick up the waste in bags - just a matter of convincing the rest!

Filthy people altogether

I am so tired of this filthy people!  One only sees this happening over and over and all over so many different places, still in Alicante the same because the inspectors are not often around so this dirty people get away from it.
Having a pet, mostly dogs, means to care for it in all respects, but most of the owners of pets do not take it seriously in many ways starting from having them educated so they can behave outside their houses, educate them to be obedient and not furious or violent to others, etc.

Yes, Santa Pola should start applying the law to fine those who do not pick up their dogs do-do, but have you asked yourselves why also Santa Pola does not start from being the example and have Gran Alacant cleaner? One just has to see some sections how abandoned and filthy they are, Calle Noruega, all around Super Valu Supermarket, etc. etc.

Population still need to be punished because we are still uneducated ourselves thus passing it on to everyone in our family and that includes children they are not educated from their start in life therefore when they get to be approx. 9 years old they start being nasty with everyone around, not respecting neighbours, mates, family, etc.  WHEN ARE WE GOING TO BECOME HUMANS?

This is what I feel..... poster attached

Dog waste bins please....

We always have bags with us in case our dog messes in the street. She is very well trained but, like us, can be caught short. We always walk her before taking her to public places but there are occasions when we have to pick up after her. I don't like the idea of putting her scoop bag in a public bin because it isn't intended for such waste. The person emptying said bin should not have to run the risk of encountering such material. I would like to see more dedicated bins for animal waste. I'm sure people would be more responsible if they had somewhere to dispose of their baggies...

Doc. with picture can now be seen
