Tony - make your self useful for a change and try and do some research for the guy and tell him the best exchange rates that you find in SPAIN instead of trying to start an arguement !

True to form there then. Do as I say and not as I do.
Don't see advice on best exchange rates, just criticise someone's views ;) .

Pleeeease. Give me some credit, my business interests are not in back street cafs that rely on the lower end of the market.
I am only interested in investing viable ventures which are profitable.

I am surprised that no-one mentioned the Nationwide debit card. If you have a FlexAccount (current account) you can obtain at least 300 euro per day from a Spanish ATM at very little above that day's wholesale rate. There are no commission charges. We opened an account with Nationwide just for this purpose.

Lets stick to Johns post please.
BTW I often visit a very superb restaurant in a street which I find superb and BTW am very qualified to say so so if anyone wants to visit a good Spanish restaurant pm me as I will not post on open forum.
