Respect Mark. Both very nice timepieces.

I love the Rolex - it feels unbreakable and I wear it daily

The Santos is a great design classic, I've wanted one ever since I saw it a magazine in the late seventies, but compared to the Rolex it comes across as a tad fragile.

Can't see me replacing either with a mobile phone though. :D
Why, oh why, didn't I take the BLUE pill?

The Santos is real gem of art deco design. That would be high on my list of 'watch wants' 8-)

On my third Omega Seamaster, my son is using my first, my grandson has my second, never take mine off. All still work perfectly.

On special days I wear my grandadads Omega De Ville from the 1950´s, one of my most prized possessions. Had it serviced in 1988 and it has worked perfectly since.

As for first watch, the obligarory Timex.

Regards all

My brother and sisters and me were all given watches for their 5th birthdays, the old fashioned ones with actual hands!! Mine of course was a timex watch with cinderella on the face, it was encased in a glass slipper (plastic really !!) I remember it lasted quite a few years though.

My first watch was a cinderella timex, it had a blue nylon strap, a picture of cinderella in the face and came wrapped around an ornament of cinderella in a blue dress, it lasted for years
