Also a good point and should be considered an essential bit of information that the renter provides.
Many renters are only too quick to take a deposit, so if things go sour, at least they have a few pounds compensation but what real comeback does a customer have?
Let us assume (not in this instance) that it was a new road and with no streetname on display. The taxi needs paying, the customer pays. Should they be able to claim against the owner.
Much like 'sea view'. If you go up onto the roof, get a step ladder, climb and stand on one leg.

Some better rental sites allow renters to provide feedback.

So if you dont get what you pay for then you can warn other people.

Agreed. But not much use for those who rent from those who do not advertise on such reputable sites.
