Internet links within an e-mail.

Hello techies,
                  Anyone that can offer any help on this problem!!!!

When I get a link to an internet site in an e-mail....What used to happen was that I'd click on the link and it would automatically open a new tab and take me to that site.

Now what happens is....I click on the link and it opens up the file/folder screen for me to select a file from one of my folders...!

What have I done and can anyone tell me how to turn it back to what it was?

Go to INTERNET OPTIONS in your web browser

Select the PROGRAMS tab

Ensure that under EMAIL outlook express (or which email client you use) is highlighted.

Then click APPLY
